Squirrel Lake is a 1,309-acre lake located just West of Minocqua. The lake has moderately clear water and a maximum depth of 46 feet. Offering lots of water, Squirrel Lake has lots to offer to both recreational boaters and fishermen.

Known for its good fishing and vast amounts of shoreline, anglers can expect to catch Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Squirrel Lake offers two public boat landings. One located on the north end of the lake and one located on the east side of the lake.

Squirrel Lake is a great place for a private seasonal or permanent residence.
