Shishebogama & Gunlock Lakes
Shishebogama Lake is a 700-acre lake located just west of Minocqua. The lake has moderately clear water and a maximum depth of 42 feet. Shishebogama Lake has lots of bays and shoreline offering a great place for recreational boating and fishing.
With good fishing, anglers can expect to catch Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Shishebogama Lake offers two public boat landings.
Shishebogama Lake also connects to Gunlock Lake which is a
264-acre lake to the north. Gunlock Lake has a public boat landing on the north end of the lake.
Shishebogama Lake is a great place for a private seasonal or permanent residence.
