Lower and Upper Buckatabon Lakes

Lower Buckatabon Lake is a 378-acre lake with a maximum depth of 16 feet and Upper Buckatabon Lake is a 493-acre lake with a maximum depth of 47 feet. These lakes are located just west of Conover. Together these lakes make up 871 acres of navigable water. These lakes have lots to offer to recreational boaters and fishermen.
Lower Buckatabon and Upper Buckatabon Lakes are known for great fishing. Anglers can expect to catch Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. There is a public boat landing on Upper Buckatabon Lake that is located on the south end for visitors to use.
Year-round, these lakes have lots to offer. Enjoy a stop at Bauer's Dam Resort by boat, snowmobile, or car for a great meal and beverage. Other well-known properties on the lake
