The good ole summertime in Eagle River

This is part two about the options of great things to do in Eagle River! The last story got too long and there are still some must-do activities you don’t want to miss!
Eagle Falls Adventure Mini-Golf and Laser Tag: 1040 E. Pine St. Located off Highway 70 on Eagle River’s east side, next to Dollar General, this is a great stop no matter the weather.
Gleaming skies and radiant sunshine? Well, it’s golf time! Test your skills on this gorgeous 18-hole miniature golf course. The theme reflects a 1950s fishing camp. There are a fishing cabin, a bait shop, and many water features. A Ranger’s tower hole can be descended by stairs or slide.
Treat the family to ice cream and a soda after the game and use a discount certificate offered for free from one of the many local businesses.
Did the weather turn a little drippy? Or have an energy burst after your round of golf? Head into the 3,000 square-foot Laser Tag building and amp up for a thrill like no other at Northern Light Laser Tag.
True to the Northwoods theme, make your way through the woods in an eerie fog, illuminated by the Northern Lights. You must seek out to tag your opponents with your specially designed laser gun.
The team with the most tags at the end of play wins. Teams are briefed about the procedures at the start of the competition and members are outfitted with special vest and protective gear. This is a great activity not only for families but for any group looking for a fun, memorable, action-filled activity.

Another option for a rainy day is to head out to JD Paintball’s Field of Honor. Located at 611 Hwy. 17 South, this action-packed sport features two teams in 15-minute games. Teams are armed with CO2 powered paintball guns that fire 68 caliber paintballs at about 285 feet per second. All necessary protective equipment is also included.
There are many styles of play that eliminates any possibility of boredom. Don’t worry about coming clean after play, the paint is a water-soluble solution used to mark the hit.
