Carry out charisma

You might think this is not an opportune time to open a new restaurant business. However, Erin Gaszak, proprietor of the newly opened Erin’s Pub and Grub, says business is booming.
Erin’s opened April 9 and she said she was very busy from that first day. Erin says her restaurant opened featuring a limited menu tailored to the take-out trade. She says once they can open fully, entrees, such as homemade brisket and corned beef will be added to the menu.
Erin is a veteran server who worked at Sweetwaters starting when she was in high school in 2000, when she moved here from Rockford, Il.
Over the years, she developed a desire to open a restaurant, growing her clientele base, and serving her brand of the menu. Despite the gloomy business atmosphere, things are looking pretty bright for Erin’s.
The eatery is open Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Among their most popular menu items are the shaved Prime Rib sandwich, meatball sandwich, great burgers, the Pub Salad, and their build-your-own-pizza.
The reviews posted by her patrons are very favorable.
“Ordered the shaved Prime rib sandwich and it was very possibly the best one I’ve ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked for a sandwich and the portion was crazy big. Can’t wait to grab a pizza to try on the way home from work next week!” said one happy diner.
“Not only is Erin one of the nicest people I know, the food was great! I LOVE chicken bacon ranch wraps! I highly recommend this place to EVERYONE,” raved another.
Erin’s Pub and Grub is located at the former Gordo’s at N 933 Railroad St, on Hwy. 45 North. To place a take-out order, call 715-477-1155. Be sure to visit the Facebook page for more information about the food and goings-on at Erin’s Pub and Grub!
