Hats off to all the hard-working men and women staffing our local chambers of commerce. A real tip of the hat to those working so hard to keep our hospitality industry viable. It truly is an unusual time in our country and the American spirit has a chance to shine like never before.

One of the current projects area chambers have embarked on is letting people know what dining and food establishments are remaining open through delivery and carryout services.

Eagle Waters Resort: Closed

Tijan’s Twelve Pines will be offering curbside take out and delivery only.

Friendship House Family Restaurant: Monday – Sunday, 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Take out

Nutty Squirrel: Open 7 days a week takeout 4-8 p.m. Until 9 p.m. on Fridays.

Kickback Grill: is closed until April 22

Dairy Queen Eagle River: Drive Through 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Eagle River McDonald: Drive Through – Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday – Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Catch 22 Charhouse: Closed.

On their Facebook page, they have created a “virtual tip jar”. Here you can tip your favorite server or bartender through PayPal. It’s a great way to let them know how much their services mean and are missed. Click here to be sent to the spreadsheet listing these wonderful folks!

When in need, contact the business, place your order and pay with a credit card or other form. The business will then contact a volunteer driver and pick up the order and deliver to the customer’s residence. Please give the correct address when placing order.
