Anvil Lake is a quiet 377-acre lake located just east of Eagle
River. The lake is moderately clear with a maximum depth of 32 feet. Located in the Nicolet National Forest, Anvil Lake has lots to offer for recreationists, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts.

Offering great fishing, anglers can expect to catch Panfish, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye. Anvil Lake offers two public boat launches on the southern part of the lake for
guests to utilize.
