The right man for your repair

Eagle Handyman and Maintenance

Whether you live in a home, or an apartment, or have a business, there always comes a time that you need a repair or an update to your dwelling. Sometimes, you need both accomplished at the same time.

That is when finding a great handyman becomes a golden stroke of luck. But finding one who can do what you need to be done can be a bit tricky.

Meet Kent Harris of Eagle Handyman and Maintenance in Eagle River. Harris is a real Jack of All Trades and Master of Many of them.

As a young man, he worked in construction and as a certified electrician for small businesses in central Illinois. He was also in a union and worked for the Illinois Department of Corrections in maintenance for several years.

Eventually, his position was phased out. At that time he began doing handyman work until his tools were stolen. He then went to work as a kitchen manager, making pizzas.

Fast forward to his move to the Northwoods in 2007. He began working as a machinist at Hy-Pro, Inc. of Rhinelander in 2008. He was there until this past April.

Harris then decided to draw on his 15-year history as a handyman. His list of skills is impressive. He does plumbing, electrical work, rough carpentry, small engine repairs, computer repairs and can do just about any kind of work needed around the home.

Of course, the cost can be a huge concern. Harris charges only by the job and not by the hour, thus avoiding any concern about spending unnecessary time thus padding the bill. He will be happy to install any fixtures or parts provided by the homeowner. If asked, he advises what to purchase for any repair job.

If the job requires it, he also will come and do an estimate of what the job will cost. He sticks to his bid price, adjusting only if there is an unsuspected complication that requires more work. Again, he will discuss this with the homeowner.

Location is no problem for Harris. He does say that he needs to charge a bit more for locations more than 30 minutes away from Eagle River, such as Boulder Junction or beyond Rhinelander, for example. This charge will be explained upfront.

This man is a true professional. He returns calls promptly and shows up on time. He will explain what he is doing in detail so the homeowner understands what the job entails.

Eagle Handyman and Maintenance is a great find for any job that needs to be completed. Reliable, affordable, and professional — you will be glad you hired him. You can make an appointment for mornings or afternoons with Kent Harris by calling 715-617-1175. Watch for his upcoming Facebook Page.
