It’s the lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer and in the St. Germain Community Park, tomorrow, Thursday, July 14, come join us at the "Lazy Daze of Summer Festival".

There will be lots of activities, music and it wouldn’t be summer without great food. The morning kicks off at 9:00 a.m. with the Celebration Brass Quintet entertaining until 10:30 a.m., the featured band at the St. Germain LIVE! Summer Concert Series two weeks ago.

Among the items on the agenda are an ice cream social, arts and crafts shows, water and classic lawn games for the kids, inflatables and a Bounce House, a mini-petting zoo and many other family fun activities.

Other featured music is “Around Jazz” from the Northern Pines High School playing from 10:30 a.m. until noon.  Brian McLaughlin will play from 12:00 p.m until closing at 3:00 p.m.

There is even a baking/cooking contest where businesses, individuals and kids can enter competing for  the best strawberry jam/jelly, strawberry pie or trail mix created for and by kids! Here is the link for the contest application. Click on the link on that page and it goes to the rules and application.

“Entries must be dropped off at the Contest Table, located in the St. Germain Community Center Picnic Pavilion, between 10am and noon on Thursday, July 14th, 2016.”
