Summer continues to delight visitors and residents alike with some pretty spectacular weather and the calendar is packed with a huge variety of things to do!
New to the scene in St. Germain is the Wednesday night "St. Germain LIVE! Summer Concert Series" sponsored by the St. Germain Area Chamber of Commerce. A wide assortment of musical entertainment is featured every other Wednesday night. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. and plays until 8:00 p.m. at the pavilion and park behind the Chamber offices.
To date this year, there have been two concerts, Tuck Pence and the Celebration Brass Quintet.
This is a free event and everyone is invited to bring a comfy chair or blanket, a picnic basket and enjoy the great music. Tomorrow night, June 13, will feature the song stylings of Kyle Mertz.
Mertz and his acoustic guitar recently transitioned from part time to full time entertaining, performing at more than 250 shows in 2015. In addition to extensive covers from nearly every music genre, Mertz also captivates crowds wth his original material.
If the weather is inclement, the concerts are then scheduled for the off Wednesday night, however make sure to check the Chamber site to confirm the rescheduled date.
See you in the park tomorrow night!
