The New Premier Powersports and Marine

There is another new business in St. Germain, Premier Powersports and Marine and it has taken off like a shot on the town’s east side.

Located at the former Northern Exchange site, owner Brian Sierkierzynski said Premier will be servicing, “Anything that has a spark plug." He isn’t kidding, either. While the snowmobile, ATV/UTV and boat service and sales are the heart of his business, he has serviced chainsaws, lawnmowers, even scooters and golf carts.

As a professional mechanic for 24 years, Brian is focused on how important customer satisfaction is in this business. Since 2006, he has earned Mercury Outboard Motors CSI (Customer Satisfaction Indicator) award 8 times.

“We believe in what you care about and we care what you think,” said Brian. “I spend a lot of time educating customers that come in. That’s why they come here… A lot of times I will help you through the struggles so you don’t have to learn the hard way… I will teach you how to take care of that boat to make it easier for me to help you take care of it cheaper … use this kind of gas, use this kind of treatment…do this kind of maintenance. Stop in and visit once in a while to learn what you should be doing -instead of costing $500 now I will only cost you $300.”

This past winter Premier Powersports and Marine had a very good season. They service all brands of snowmobiles and they have the tools in their shop to service every brand of snowmobiles, boats, ATV/UTVs and much more. They do rent snowmobiles, service all sleds and will sell snowmobiles on consignment.

With the recent ordinance changes that will now allow ATV/UTVs on local roads, Brian sees this as a huge opportunity for his new business.

He is a dealer for Recon fishing boats, the first time St. Germain has a dealer that sells new fiberglass fishing boats.

Of course, the retail shop stocks seasonal parts and accessories for all the powersports. They also offer pick up and delivery service, winterizing and summarizing as well as storage facilities.

This summer, there will be pontoon boats and other boats available for rent. Look for Premier Powersports to partner with local resorts for additional convenience for your upcoming stay.

Since 2002 Brian worked as the service manager for Heckels in Eagle River and then Schoeder’s in Rhinelander. He is an Evinrude Master Mechanic and a certified technician for both Mercury and Yamaha.

Brian is a familiar face in St. Germain. He and his wife, Wendy, made the big move north in 1996. Friends from the Fox Valley area, St Germain Sport Marine owners Tom and Kim Christensen, hired the couple when they arrived.

Wendy has been the administrative secretary at the elementary school for 17 years, following in the footsteps of Cathy Clark.
